TRU COLORS: SURVEY SAYS NIKE STILL HIP AMONG U.S TEENS

          The following lists results from IL-based Teenage
     Research Unlimited's (TRU) Coolest Brand Meter, a survey in
     which 2,034 teenagers wrote in their responses to an open-
     ended question in the Spring 2000/Wave 35 Teenage Marketing
     & Lifestyle Study asking which three brands they considered
     the "coolest."  The percentage of votes for each of the Top
     10 brands are presented, as well as results from the Fall
     '99 survey, with each brand's ranking in parentheses (TRU).
