EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The MetroStars named JOE MACDONELL as VP/Operations. 
     Macdonell previously worked for the Nets (MetroStars).
     ...CNNSI.com promoted MITCH GELMAN from Assistant Managing
     Editor to Exec Editor (CNNSI.com)....WARD CLAYTON was named
     Dir of Editorial Services for the PGA Tour.  Clayton was
     Sports Editor of the Augusta Chronicle (PGA Tour).
     ...Champions on Ice named BILL LEE as VP/Marketing.  Lee
     previously worked for Olympia Entertainment in Detroit,
     where he headed marketing effort for several venues,
     including Joe Louis Arena (Champions on Ice)....DAVID VANCE
     was named GM of the AFL Wranglers.  Vance replaces SCOTT
     GORSLINE, who will oversee operations for DP Fox Ventures'
     AFL and IHL teams (DAILY OKLAHOMAN, 3/30)....CHRIS VECCHIA
     has rejoined SiS, N.A., as Dir of New Business Development. 
     Formerly a Western Sales Manager for SiS, Vecchia was most
     recently an Account Exec at WEEI-AM in Boston (THE DAILY).
