          In Ft. Lauderdale, Jose Lambiet writes that ANNA
     KOURNIKOVA "caused a stir with her get-up" at the '99 Sanex
     WTA Tour awards event in Miami on Wednesday.  Kournikova
     "accepted an award for the best doubles team wearing 6-inch
     heels, and a skintight see-through knitted dress offering a
     plunging view of a leopard-skin bikini underneath."  ESPN's
     ROBIN ROBERTS, who emceed the event, on Kournikova's outfit:
     "I see this ceremony has its own JENNIFER LOPEZ" (Ft.
     Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL, 3/24)....In N.Y., Jack Newfield
     reports that DON KING gave a $50,000 "soft money"
     contribution to U.S. Sen. HARRY REID (D-NV), and Newfield
     writes that Reid "appears to be" the senator who "killed"
     U.S. Sen. JOHN MCCAIN's (R-AZ) Muhammad Ali Reform Act in
     November '99 (N.Y. POST, 3/24)....The 76ers honored longtime
     broadcaster BILL CAMPBELL in a halftime ceremony during
     Wednesday's game.  The team "unveiled a plaque" of Campbell
     to be placed in the 76ers Zone, a fan area in the concourse
     of the First Union Center (CALKINS NEWSPAPERS, 3/23).
