EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          GENE UPSHAW was elected to his seventh three-year term
     as the NFLPA's Exec Dir, and Dolphins DE TRACE ARMSTRONG was
     re-elected as NFLPA President for a third two-year term
     (Mult., 3/24)....MLS named TOM HAIDINGER as VP/Corporate
     Partnerships and BETH CONROY as Dir of Corporate Partnership
     Services.  Haidinger spent nine years with Kaleidoscope
     Sports & Entertainment, and Conroy spent the last seven
     years in the Marketing Dept. of the Jets (MLS)....In L.A.,
     Larry Stewart reports that CHARLES COPLIN, a "respected" ABC
     Sports Producer the last ten years, will join interactive
     videocasts provider softcom.com.  Current softcom execs
     include former ESPN exec DOUG WARSHAW and Olympics feature
     producer JEFF GREENHOLTZ (L.A. TIMES, 3/24)....RON MAESTRI
     has joined the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation as Exec
     Dir for the 2003 NCAA Men's Final Four Host Committee
     (GNOSF)....Parabolics Inline Wheels appointed KEN HALL as
     company President (Parabolics)....JEFF MCMAHON was named COO
     of Ed McMahon's Next Big Star, an Internet talent
     competition.  McMahon previously was Dir of Programming at
     the NFL and Dir of TV Events at NFLP (Victory Ent.)....BRAD
     BENNETT was named Dir of Information Systems and JEN MORRIS
     as Manager of Licensing & Trade Show for Minor League
     Baseball.  RON MYERS joins the staff on a part-time basis as
     Dir of Special Events Sales (MinorLeagueBaseball.com).
