FACILITY NOTES

          In Boston, Will McDonough reports that "word has it the
     Patriots have entered into serious discussions" with MA-
     based Internet company Monster.com "about naming rights to
     their new stadium."  Monster CEO Jeff Taylor has reportedly
     told Wall Street "insiders that his company has been holding
     discussions with the team."  The Patriots are in the
     "beginning stages of building a 68,000-seat stadium"
     adjacent to Foxboro Stadium (BOSTON GLOBE, 3/17). 
          49ERS TO PAY: In S.F., Matier & Ross report that the
     49ers say "they have every intention of paying" the $1M they
     owe the city as part of the 3Com Park naming rights deal
     (See THE DAILY, 3/15).  49ers Dir of PR Sam Singer: "We're
     going to make the city whole. ... It's not like they've been
     sending us past-due bills" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 3/17).
