EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ONLINE: The merger of Beckett Publishing with Beckett
     Interactive has led to the formation of Beckett.com.  In
     conjunction with the move, the company announced DR. JAMES
     BECKETT will serve as CEO; MARK HARWELL, former VP/Beckett
     Interactive, was promoted to President of Beckett.com; and
     MARGARET STEELE, formerly the VP/Beckett Publishing, was
     named VP/Operations for Beckett.com (BECKETT INSIDER, 3/11).
          RACING INDUSTRY EXECS: DOUGLAS DONN has "relinquished"
     his post as Gulfstream Park President and has been named
     Chair by Gulfstream's Owner FRANK STRONACH.  Donn, who had
     held his position since '78, will be replaced by DAVID
     ROMANICK (N.Y. TIMES, 3/14).  Meanwhile, LA-based Fair
     Grounds President & GM BRYAN KRANTZ has been elected by the
     Southern Region of the Thoroughbred Racing Associations to
     succeed Donn as its rep on the NTRA Board of Directors
     (NTRA)...The NTRA promoted AMY BOCCUZZI to Manager of
     Advertising & Promotions.  Boccuzzi previously held the
     position of Coordinator of Events & Promotions (NTRA).
          OTHER MOVES: KENNETH DOTSON was named Board Chair at
     ScoreCardUSA.com, a sports portal catering to amateur
     athletes.  Dotson also serves as CMO for uBid.com
     (ScoreCardUSA.com)....Cleveland-based event management firm
     Hermes Sports & Events named SONDRA BASEGGIO as VP/Business
     Development and TOM ROTH as Operations Manager.  Baseggio
     joins Hermes after serving as Dir of Marketing &
     Communications for Fox Sports Net OH.  Roth joins Hermes
     from The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (Hermes).
