DEALS & DOLLARS: YAHOO! ON THE SLOPES; VOLLEYBALL NEWS

          Yahoo! has signed on as the exclusive Internet services
     sponsor of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team.  Under the deal,
     Yahoo! will host several online events and event coverage
     across its Web properties.  An online sweeps offering the
     chance to win a trip to the Chevy Truck U.S. Alpine
     Championships in WY in March will run on Yahoo! Sports
     through March 10.  Additionally, Yahoo! Chat will host live
     chats with some of the team's athletes.  Yahoo! will receive
     TV exposure, as well as on-site marketing rights (USS&ST).
          LET'S HAVE A BALL: The U.S. Pro Volleyball League
     signed Molten USA as the Official Game Ball and Training
     Ball of the USPV Millennium Cup and Jewel Osco as an
     Official Event Sponsor.  The Millennium Cup is an int'l
     round-robin tournament to be held in Louisville, St. Louis,
     Milwaukee and Chicago in May (USPV)....Volleyballer Misty
     May, the '99 NCAA Athlete of the Year, has signed an
     endorsement deal with Speedo.  May is represented by CO-
     based Progressive Sports Management (Speedo).
          MORE DEALS: The USPS has renewed its sponsorship of the
     Saturn USPRO Cycling Tour (USPS)....Airwalk Int'l has named
     CA-based Bulldog Drummond as its new strategic marketing
     partner.  Billings were not disclosed (Airwalk).
