FACILITY NOTES

In Milwaukee, Don Walker reports that investor Tim
Krause, son of former Brewers Owner Charles Krause, is
"looking at the possibility of building a soccer stadium
downtown with the ultimate goal of obtaining" a MLS
franchise. Krause said that he has "no timetable for an
decision" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 2/22)...In L.A.,
Grahame Jones reported that MLS Galaxy, Rapids and Fire
Investor/Operator Philip Anschutz said that he's "committed
to building soccer-specific" stadiums for MLS teams in L.A.,
Denver and Chicago. Three sites "are under consideration"
for the Galaxy in L.A. and Carson, CA (L.A. TIMES, 2/21).
...Marlins Owner John Henry said the club is considering
building an air-conditioned stadium. Henry said that the

price tag "by as much as" $40M (MIAMI HERALD, 2/21).
