FINANCE NEWS & NOTES: QUOKKA REPORTS $$ INCREASE

          Quokka Sports reported revenues of $6.7M for the fiscal
     quarter ended December 31, 1999, a 125% increase over $3M
     for the third quarter of '99 and up from $766,000 for the
     fourth quarter of '98 (Quokka Sports)....Philip Morris'
     Kraft Foods agreed Friday to purchase CA-based fitness
     energy bar maker Balance Bar for $268M (L.A. TIMES,
     1/22)....Wilson Sporting Goods has paid roughly $20M,
     including the assumption of liabilities, for OR-based
     DeMarini Sports, which develops, manufactures and markets
     baseball and softball bats (OREGONIAN, 1/20)....TearDrop
     Golf Company has completed its new $28M finance package with
     Congress Financial and Textron Financial.  The two-year
     package includes term loans of approximately $6.6M in
     addition to a revolving credit facility having availability
     subject to the Company's asset base (TearDrop).
