FINANCE NOTES

          MI Entertainment, the racetrack and entertainment
     company headed by Magna Int'l Chair Frank Stronach, filed
     documents with the SEC on Tuesday "outlining details of its
     planned" IPO, which "should be executed by early March." 
     The documents said that Magna "will offer" 17.7 million
     shares at a "maximum price" of $6.90 each (DAILY RACING
     FORM, 1/20)....SportsHuddle.com, a national network of high
     school sports sites, announced the closing of $4.5M in
     private venture capital funding.  SportsHuddle's investors
     are led by Gateway Venture Partners, which is joined by A.G.
     Edwards and others (SportsHuddle.com)....On CNNfn's
     "Entrepreneurs," Paul Molineaux reported shares of Ask
     Jeeves "slid [yesterday].  It lost five dollars or 5 1/2%,
     after reporting better than expected quarterly results.  It
     lost $.56 a share during the fourth quarter, which is a
     smaller loss than the market had expected" (CNNfn, 1/19). 
     Today shares were up 7, or 6.9%, to 109 (THE DAILY).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more
