EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ROGER WOOD was named VP/Product Development for CA-
     based Broadband Sports.  Wood was previously VP and head of
     global e-commerce at Reebok Int'l (Broadband Sports)....In
     Atlanta, Charles Haddad reports that Time Warner Digital
     Media CEO BILL BURKE has resigned.  Burke, who was in charge
     of CNN's Internet properties, has "no immediate plans" for
     the future (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 1/13)....Former Mutiny GM
     NICK SAKIEWICZ was formally named GM of the MetroStars.  A
     search for Sakiewicz's replacement will begin immediately
     (Mutiny)....Millsport has named three additional regional
     sales managers to support its sales and marketing work for
     the PGA Tour's "Saturday Series."  KATHRYN GRAINGER HOBBINS
     will handle the East and South regions, BRYAN KRAHAM will
     handle the Midwest and Southwest and ISAAC SCOTT will cover
     the West (Millsport)....GMR Marketing named JEREMY DAVIDSON
     as Account Manager of Motorsports PR.  Davidson will oversee
     PR and media activities for the company's NASCAR sponsorship
     and marketing program.  Davidson was previously Media Dir
     for the NASCAR Busch North Series (GMR)....CHRIS CALDWELL
     and AMY CUNNINGHAM have joined Velocity Sports &
     Entertainment.  Caldwell, who will serve as a VP, previously
     was Dir of Marketing & Sales for the ATP Tour.  Cunningham,
     who will serve as a Manager, has been working as a freelance
     associate for Velocity's Corporate Events group and will
     continue to manage hospitality programs for Velocity clients
     FedEx and IBM (Velocity Sports)...USA Hockey named former
     "Stars and Stripes" Assistant Managing Editor HARRY THOMPSON
     Manager of Media & PR.  Thompson will also serve as Managing
     Editor of "AMERICAN HOCKEY" magazine (USA Hockey).
