          GATHERING MOSS: In St. Paul, Banks & Jensen write that     since the December 20 Packers-Vikings game, Vikings WR Randy     Moss has worn a "different pair" of the Jordan Brand Jumpman     turf shoes than the "purple and white high-top numbers" he     wore "all season."  Moss' signature Jordan Brand shoe,     called the "Super Freak," is scheduled to hit stores later     this year.  That model has Moss' number "spelled out on the     side: 'eighty-4'" and is black, white and purple with a     zipper in the front (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 1/12).          NOTE: Easton Sports has signed a multi-year deal to     title sponsor the MAAC Hockey Championship, marking the     first season the conference has signed corporate sponsors     for its men's hockey league.  In addition to the Easton     deal, Hocks Apparel has signed on as presenting sponsor, and     Budget Rent-a-Car, Mazda, Chase Manhattan Bank and Bob's     Stores have also inked deals.  The MAAC's corporate     marketing program is handled by Dallas-based Universal     Sports America's Collegiate Group (MAAC).          ACROSS THE POND: Reuters signed a three-year deal to     sponsor the BMW Williams team in the F-1 racing series as     "part of a campaign for stronger brand promotion" (REUTERS,     1/11)....ISL Worldwide has signed on to become a marketing/     TV partner with FIBA for a "revamped EuroLeague competition"     through 2004.  Revenue generated from marketing will be     distributed among the 24 EuroLeague teams (REUTERS, 1/11).
