          The SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Daniel Kaplan reports that
     the Coyotes have hired Banc One Capital Markets to "advise
     the team on financing strategies" for the team's new arena
     near Scottsdale (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 11/29 issue)....MSG
     President Dave Checketts, on the Roy Jones, Jr.-David
     Telesco light-heavyweight fight on January 15, 2000, at
     Radio City Music Hall, the "first ever sporting event" held
     at the facility: "This will be a historic occasion." 
     Checketts, on a possible weekly "Fight Night" at the venue:
     "Let's see how this one works out" (N.Y. POST, 11/30).
     ...Pirates Owner Kevin McClatchy said PNC Park, which is
     scheduled to open in 2001, is "on time and on budget." 
     McClatchy adds that 1,302 fans have upgraded partial season
     tickets to full season tickets, up from 621 fans during the
     '99 season.  In Pittsburgh, Kevin Smith notes that season
     ticket holders next year "will get the first shot" at season
     tickets for PNC Park (Pittsburgh TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 11/30).
