EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Nike named DONALD BLAIR as VP & CFO.  Blair spent the
     past 15 years at PepsiCo where he was previously Senior
     VP/Finance (Nike)....IRL Exec Dir LEO MEHL announced that he
     will step down next month (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 11/19). 
     ....McDonald's Motorsports Manager BILL KORBUS has resigned
     to "pursue other opportunities."  No successor was named
     (WINSTON CUP SCENE, 11/18 issue)....The MLS Wizards named
     CURT JOHNSON as GM.  He was previously VP & GM for the A-
     League Richmond Kickers (Wizards)....Playboy named BEN
     WRIGHT as Golf Editor.  Wright will also write regular golf
     columns (Playboy)....FX promoted JOHN SOLBERG to VP/PR East
     and named STEVE WEBSTER as VP/PR West.  Solberg, who will be
     based in N.Y., was previously Dir of PR, while Webster had
     been Dir of PR at Fox Sports Net West/West 2 (FX)....PAT
     JONES was named Kaleidoscope Entertainment Senior Manager of
     Projects.  Jones was a project manager in Kaleidoscope's GM
     EventWorks unit in Detroit (Kaleidoscope).
