EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Nike named ELLEN TURNER as VP & CMO, effective November
     29. Turner will replace ANDY MOONEY, who will continue to
     serve as a VP/Global Apparel.  Turner, who was previously
     CMO for Kinko's, will report to Nike COO TOM CLARKE (Nike).
     ...The Marlins named JONATHAN MARINER Exec VP & CFO. 
     Mariner began his career with the Marlins in '92 as
     VP/Finance (Marlins).  In Ft. Lauderdale, Sarah Talalay
     writes that Mariner will become the "highest-ranking"
     African-American exec in MLB (Ft. Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL,
     11/17)....AND 1 announced the following transactions: BART
     HOULAHAN was named President; CHRISTINA HOULAHAN was
     promoted from Dir of Distribution and Information Systems to
     COO; PETER KUSHEL was named CFO; and ERRIN CECIL-SMITH was
     named Dir of Marketing Communications (AND 1)....GREG WALTER
     was named Dir of Sales for Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Walter
     was Sales Manager at Raleigh-based Capitol Sports (Atlanta
     Motor Speedway)....PAT SCANLON has been named VP/TV
     Production for The Racing Network (The Racing Network).
