YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR HAT ON! NFL LICENSEES HEADWEAR EXEMPTIONS

          The NFL's three on-field licensees -- Nike, Puma and
     adidas -- are each allowed up to 33 player headwear
     exemptions, meaning that each company can supply headwear to
     33 players on teams to which they do not have on-field
     licensing rights.  All players, other than those on the
     following exemption list, can wear headwear only from their
     team's designated licensee (See THE DAILY, 12/9/98, 7/1/99).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
