The U.S. Women's National soccer team kicks off its
Toys 'R' Us Victory Tour tonight at Civic Arena in
Pittsburgh against a team of World All-Stars. All 19 WWC
players have signed on to play during the 12-game indoor
tour that is being sanctioned by the USSF and produced by
SFX Entertainment. Tour sponsors include Toys 'R' Us,
Allstate, Office of National Drug Control Policy, Pepsi
(Aquafina), ROOX Trading Cards and SI for Women (SFX).
Ticket prices for tonight's match, which isn't a sellout,
range from $18-35 (AP, 10/22). USA TODAY's Peter Brewington
writes that a crowd of "at least" 9,000 is expected at Civic
Arena, and 15,000 "could show up" for the team's match
Sunday at The Palace Of Auburn Hills (USA TODAY, 10/22).
Twelve of the U.S. members will play in each city during the
     tour, which ends December 15 (TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 10/22).
