MARK HIS WORDS: HAMISTER A PLAYER IN SPORTS ACQUISITIONS

AFL Destroyers Owner Mark Hamister said yesterday that
he is "interested in expanding his sports enterprise" and is
"looking to buy" the CFL Argos and three af2 teams,
according to Perry Lefko of the TORONTO SUN. But Hamister
said that he "is not about to get involved in a bidding war
for the Argos if there are more parties interested" in the
team. He added that he is also eyeing "three or four sports
franchises that are for sale," but he wouldn't reveal the
teams or what leagues they are in (TORONTO SUN, 10/21).
