READY, SET ... GOTCHA.TV: SHOW TO AIR ON FOX SPORTS NET

Broadband Interactive Group (BIG) and Fox have agreed
to broadcast "Gotcha.tv" on Fox Sports Net (FSN) Monday-
Friday from 4:00pm-5:00pm ET, beginning January 1, 2000,
with a repeat to air daily at 1:00am ET. The program will
be expanded to cover such sports as skateboarding, surfing,
wakeboarding, snowboarding, BMX and freestyle motorcross.
BIG has named CJ Olivaras as VP/Programming to oversee
production (BIG). In L.A., Leslie Earnest writes that the
show will target viewers between the ages of 10 and 34. For
BIG, cross-promotional opportunities "abound," as TV viewers
will be "directed to the Gotcha.com Web site" (L.A. TIMES,
10/12). The INDUSTRY STANDARD's Laura Rich reported that
BIG will "take over programming of that hour" and BIG and
FSN "will share ad revenues." BIG "will get additional
sponsorship time to promote its online and on-air content,
magazines and events" (INDUSTRY STANDARD, 10/11).
WEAR IT WELL: BIG also has licensed the Gotcha, MCD and
GirlStar brands to Gotcha Sportswear, a new company formed
by Gotcha Int'l and extreme sports apparel company Snowmass
     Apparel (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 10/11).
