EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          THE DAILY LOSES A STAR: The Heat named ROB WILSON as
     Assistant Dir of Sports Media Relations and MICHAEL PRESTON
     as Sports Media Relations Assistant.  Wilson was previously
     Manager of Communications for the 76ers. Preston was a Staff
     Writer here at THE DAILY for the past year, where he made an
     enormous contribution to our publication.  We want to thank
     him for his hard work and creativity and wish him the best
     of luck in his new endeavor in South FL (THE DAILY).
          OTHER EXECS: The Mavericks have named GREGG ELKIN Dir
     of Communications.  Elkin was Basketball Information Dir at
     IN Univ. (THE DAILY)....JESSAMY TANG was named ESPN Radio-
     Pittsburgh WEAE President & GM.  Tang was previously ABC
     Radio Dir/Assistant to the President, specifically focused
     on ESPN Radio expansion (ABC)....CHRIS STUART has been named
     USA Volleyball Senior Dir of Corporate Development, where he
     will be responsible for related marketing, TV and broadcast
     opportunities.  Stuart was Marketing Dir at Starter Corp.
     (USA Volleyball)....The Flyers named STEVE MAJEWSKI as Dir
     of Publications and JILL LIPSON as Assistant Dir of PR
     (Flyers)....Two Win Sports Marketing has promoted DAVE
     TIPTON to President & CEO from Managing Partner....Fox
     Sports Chicago has promoted KRIS JUNEMAN to Operations
     Manager from Dir of Programming (CRAIN'S CHICAGO, 9/27).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more

The first is with Molly Solomon, who will lead NBC’s production of the Olympics, and she shares what the network is are planning for Paris 2024. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s P.K. The second-ever MWC commissioner chats with SBJ’s Ross Nethery about her climb through the collegiate ranks. Nevarez is a member of SBJ’s Game Changers Class of 2019. Nevarez has had stints at the conference level in the Pac-12, West Coast Conference, and Mountain West Conference as well as at the college level at Oklahoma, Cal, and San Jose State. She shares stories of that journey as well as how being a former student-athlete guides her decision-making today.
