REDSKINS APPEAR SET TO NAME BALDACCI AS TEAM PRESIDENT

The Redskins "plan to name" Steve Baldacci as
Washington Entertainment President "within the next several
days," according to sources of Mark Maske of the WASHINGTON
POST. Washington Entertainment is a subsidiary of the
Redskins "created to focus" on team operations and
marketing. Baldacci "will head the business side" of the
team's operations and will be "involved" with Owner Daniel
Snyder in "ongoing efforts to make improvements to the
stadium." Maske adds that Baldacci will likely be the
team's "point man" in its efforts "to correct the traffic
problems" at the stadium (WASHINGTON POST, 9/28).
