HOUSE OF BLUES: TEAM SETS DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION OF SALE

          Kiel Center Partners, owner of the Blues and the Kiel
     Center, and Bear Stearns "have established Tuesday as the
     deadline for offers to buy the team and the building,"
     according to Jerry Berger of the ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH,
     who wrote that "possible suitors" for the sports assets
     include Rams co-Owner Stan Kroenke.  Also, Berger wrote that
     an "out-of-court settlement of more than" $1M "has been
     reached" between the Blues and former team President Jack
     Quinn, who "alleged damages over public criticism" by Blues
     Chair Jerry Ritter (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 8/29).
