LET THE SUNSHINE IN: BUCS REACH TWO NEW MEDIA DEALS IN FL

The Bucs and the Sunshine Network signed a multi-year
deal to create new programming and marketing/promotional
opportunities to provide increased exposure for the team.
The two will join to create "Buccaneer Diaries," a weekly
program produced by Sunshine that will air throughout the
NFL season. The Sunshine Network will also replay all four
Bucs preseason games, which will be produced by the team's
flagship, WTOG-TV. Bucs Exec VP Bryan Glazer said the deal
"represents a monumental step forward for us in terms of
exposure and awareness throughout Florida" (Sunshine).
BILINGUAL RADIO PACT: In St. Petersburg, Ernest Hooper
reports that the Bucs signed a four-year deal with Mega
Communications, CBS Radio and WQYK-FM for English and
Spanish broadcast rights. With the deal, Tampa Bay becomes
"the only" U.S. market where NFL games will be broadcast in
English and Spanish on the FM dial (ST. PETE TIMES, 8/13).
