EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton reports that STEVE RYAN is
     leaving as President & CEO of Strike Ten Entertainment, the
     bowling industry's marketing unit.  Meanwhile, Strike Ten
     has been "folded into" Bowling Inc. (BRANDWEEK, 8/9 issue).
     ...Former Starter execs RAY RICCIO and TONY PERUSO have
     joined CCM.  Riccio was named VP/Apparel Sales, while Peruso
     was named VP/Apparel Merchandising (BRANDWEEK, 8/9 issue).
     ...Quokka named four new members to its exec team: PASCAL
     WATTIAUX was named Senior VP/Technology; MARK ELLIS was
     named VP/Sales; RICHARD O'CONNELL was named VP/Entertainment
     Marketing; JAY THOMAS was named VP/E-commerce
     (Quokka)....Lifetime TV promoted DAWN TARNOFSKY-OSTROFF to
     Exec VP/Entertainment.  In her new position, Tarnofsky-
     Ostroff will add sports programming to her responsibilities
     (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 8/10).....MN-based First Team Sports,
     manufacturer of Hespeler hockey equipment, named STEVE RIXE
     to the newly created position of Dir of Sales for Hespeler
     Hockey (First Team)....The NHL Panthers have named CHRIS
     KELLEHER as Communications/Media Relations Coordinator. 
     Kelleher previously worked as Media Relations Assistant for
     the Sharks (Panthers)....COLLEEN DUFFY has been named the
     Dir of Client Services for ANC Sports Enterprises.  Duffy
     was at the NBA's team operations department (ANC)....ALEX
     DADOYAN has joined the Meadowlands Racetrack as Manager of
     Media Information & TV Production (AP, 8/7).
