X Games Dir of Marketing & Communications Chris Stiepock: "It's an issue that we want to resolve pretty quickly." Sabedra wrote that if the X Games "continue at their current sites," Piers 30 and 32, organizers "understand the area will be heavily congested" next summer because the Giants' new stadium "is a few blocks away." X Games organizers met with a dozen cities "interested in hosting" the event next year, including reps from Boston, L.A. and San Diego (MERCURY NEWS, 7/4).
