          RATINGS NOTES: "MLB on Fox" is averaging a 2.8/9, up 4%
     over last year's 2.7/9....MLS' All-Star game, which was
     scheduled to air on ABC but was moved to ESPN2 due to news
     coverage on JFK Jr., drew a 0.3/1 national rating, compared
     to MLS' season-to-date average on ESPN2 of 0.2 (THE
     DAILY)....In Toronto, Chris Zelkovich writes that ratings
     for TSN's CFL games "continue to soar," with the games
     averaging 235,000 viewers, up 15% over last year's average. 
     Zelkovich: "What's more amazing is that the numbers are so
     high in July, normally a low-ratings period.  The answer
     could be blackouts, or lack of such" (TORONTO STAR, 7/23).  
          NOTE: For broadcast numbers, one ratings point =
     994,000 homes.  For cable, "Cov. Area" = % of homes tuned in
     to that program in that network's universe of subscribers.

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews.
