RATINGS NOTES: NBC's final round of the U.S. Open was up 13% over last year, while Saturday's third round was up 2% over last year. The two-day weekend average for the event was a 5.8/17, making it the second-highest two-day average for the Open in 12 years (NBC)....TNN's telecast of the NASCAR Winston Cup Pocono 500 earned a 4.9 Nielsen rating, which represents more than 3.6 million households. The rating set a record as the highest-rated, most-watched Pocono 500 in the six years TNN has broadcast the event (TNN)....For the season, "MLB on Fox" is averaging a 2.7/9 through three games, up 8% over last year's 2.5/9 (Fox)....Tuesday's Pirates-Phillies game on Comcast SportsNet earned a 5.6/10 HH rating in the Philadelphia DMA. The rating ties the Phillies' two-week old single-game cable ratings record on Comcast SportsNet (Comcast).
