ONE TRACK TO ANOTHER; JOYNER-KERSEE TO FIELD NASCAR TEAM

JACKIE JOYNER-KERSEE and husband BOB have formed
Kersee-Racing "and will field" a NASCAR Winston Cup team
next year, according to Jeff Wolf of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-
JOURNAL, who wrote that Kersee rep GREG MCALEENAN "confirmed
a report" in the St. Louis Business Journal. McAleenan
"would not say how much of a cash investment" Joyner-Kersee
would put into the team, but said it was "substantial."
Wolf wrote that "negotiations with sponsors continue," but
McAleenan "expects those to be finalized" before the
announcement on July 1 (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 6/24).
