SPORTS EXECS FOR BRADLEY IN 2000; HILLARY A YANKEE BOOSTER?

          WASHINGTONIAN's Kim Eisler reports that Washington
     Sports Chair ABE POLLIN "has quietly hosted" two fundraisers
     for Democratic presidential candidate BILL BRADLEY. 
     Meanwhile, CALVIN HILL "is said to be so enthusiastic about
     Bradley's candidacy that he may take a leave" from his post
     with the Cowboys to work full-time on the Bradley campaign. 
     He "is likely to bring along his son," Grant Hill.  Padres
     President LARRY LUCCHINO is "very much in the Bradley
     picture" and ProServ Founder DONALD DELL is on Bradley's
     Finance Committee.  MICHAEL JORDAN, who already contributed
     $1,000 to Bradley, "will also begin appearances for Bradley"
     (WASHINGTONIAN, 6/99 issue).....CBS' DAN RATHER, to First
     Lady and NY Senate hopeful HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON: "Here's a
     tough question ... And you're eventually going to have to
     answer it: For whom do you root, the Mets or Yankees?" 
     Clinton: "I just love baseball, so the political answer is
     ... I'll root for both" ("60 Minutes II," 5/26).
