          The Goodwill Games named RICK MCNERNEY as VP/Marketing. 
     McNerney most recently was VP/Marketing & Communications for
     the Bucs (Turner)....AMF Bowling appointed ROLAND SMITH as
     President & CEO.  Smith previously worked with the marketing
     departments of PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Schering-Plough
     and KFC Int'l (AMF)....Street & Smith's Sports Business
     Institute named MICHAEL DINERMAN to oversee all on-site
     operations of the Institute's events.  Dinerman previously
     worked as Asst Dir of Game Operations for the Hornets and
     Sting (Street & Smith's)....The Marquee Group named JONATHAN
     PRESS as Account Dir for ProServ Consulting.  Press worked
     with corporate representation, event management and sales
     for Advantage Int'l (Marquee Group).....The NFL Cardinals
     are "expected to announce" that team VP/Player Personnel BOB
     FERGUSON will be promoted to GM (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 4/30).
