          A man claiming to be NBPA Exec Dir BILLY HUNTER "has
     been calling college coaches ... seeking financial help for
     a relative stranded at the airport in the coaches' city." 
     The imposter promises prompt repayment, which would include
     NBA tickets (USA TODAY, 4/28)....In N.Y., William Rhoden
     profiles NHL Dir of Youth Development WILLIE O'REE, the
     first African-American to play in the NHL, and writes that
     in O'Ree, the NHL "recaptured part of its history.  The
     league is stronger because of it" (N.Y. TIMES, 4/28).
     ...NEWSDAY profiles the NFL'S JUNIOR PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
     program, an eight-week, 24-day session for boys 12-14 in the
     Bronx and Brooklyn, which is designed to "serve as a
     springboard to high school football" (NEWSDAY, 4/28). 
     ...WAYNE GRETZKY has appeared on the cover of Maclean's
     magazine eleven times, two covers less the late Princess
     Diana (MACLEAN'S, 4/26)....Z-Sport Inc.'s and former Coca-
     Cola CMO SERGIO ZYMAN has been hired by the Newspaper
     Association of America to "teach the industry how to do a
     better job of selling newspapers" (E&P, 4/27).
