In DC, Maske & Shapiro report that the Jack Kent Cooke
estate trustees "completed an agreement over the weekend" to
sell the Redskins and Jack Kent Cooke Stadium to the
investment group led by MD business exec Daniel Snyder for
$800M. Sources said the trustees "intend to announce the
deal today," and the NFL owners could vote on the sale at
their May 25-26 meeting in Atlanta (WASHINGTON POST, 4/26).
NOTES: The Maple Leafs are expected to gross C$2.5M per
playoff game this season at the new Air Canada Centre, with
more than half the total coming from ticket and luxury suite
sales (TORONTO SUN, 4/25)....In N.Y., Bill Madden reported
that the Royals have a new bidder in former MLB Commissioner
