          ADIDAS ON-AIR: adidas' new ad campaign from Holland-
     based 180 Amsterdam was profiled by Patrick Allossery of the
     NATIONAL POST.  The ads "focus on sportsmanship" and "all
     conclude" with the line "Take What You Want," followed by
     adidas' new slogan "Long Live Sport."  Allossery, on the
     campaign: "It distinguishes Adidas from Nike, but the real
     question is, will it motivate consumers to switch brands"

          OTHER NOTES: The Canadian Olympic Association named
     Premium Eye wear the "official supplier and licensee" of eye
     wear products for Canada's Olympic team (TORONTO SUN, 4/13).
     ...Golfer Jim Furyk filmed spots for the Johnnie Walker
     Collection of golf wear last month in Northern CA (Johnnie
     Walker).  The spots, from Chicago-based Leo Burnett USA,
     will launch this week (AD AGE, 4/12)....Univision soccer
     announcer Pepe Locuaz will serve as the MLS Fusion's new
     spokesperson and will be featured in TV, radio and print
     ads.  Fusion Managing Dir Doug Hamilton: "First of all Pepe
     is credible and believable.  It's relevant to the soccer
     community.  Over 100 million viewers worldwide have seen
     him" (Ft. Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL, 4/13).
