EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The Venator Group named RICHARD MINA as President & CEO
     of Champs Sports.  Mina, who was previously President of
     Foot Locker Europe, succeeds PAUL DAVIES, who resigned. 
     SIMON RIDER replaces Mina as President of Foot Locker
     Europe.  He was the division's COO (WALL STREET JOURNAL,
     4/12)....ED ABRAMS was named Dir of National Sales for Fan
     Guide Publications.  Abrams handled sponsorship packages for
     MSG as an Account Exec (Fan Guide)....MATT BLATY was named
     Dir of National Media Relations for the NHRA.  Blaty
     previously worked as a Senior Publicist in Disneyland's
     marketing division (SPEEDNET, 4/7).
