CALL ME, WE'LL DO LUNCH: FOX SPORTS NW WAITS FOR TEAM'S CALL

Fox Sports Northwest (FSNW) "would be happy to
broadcast Trail Blazers games" next season, as the network
"last talked with Blazers officials in the fall" and said
that "they mutually agreed to begin serious discussions in
the first quarter of this year," according to John Hunt of
the Portland OREGONIAN. But the team has yet to pursue
talks further. FSNW reaches 800,000 homes and 98% of the OR
cable audience. FSNW VP Clayton Packard: "We have obvious
interest but we need to start chatting" (OREGONIAN, 3/19).
