          The SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Daniel Kaplan reports that
     FMR Corp., the parent company of Fidelity Investment Co., is
     a "potential" replacement to John Nuveen as the title
     sponsor of the senior men's tennis tour (SPORTSBUSINESS
     JOURNAL, 2/22 issue)....In Buffalo, David Robinson profiled
     Delaware North, which is "best known of running concessions
     at sports stadiums," but has "branched out over the years to
     include retail operations," and has become the "biggest
     retailer based in Buffalo."  Company execs said that its
     retail operation, which includes 230 stores at 37 locations,
     generated more than $100M in '98 sales (BUFFALO NEWS, 2/19). 
          HATS OFF? MLB teams are wearing special spring training
     caps in a new endeavor by MLBP.  The D'Backs caps are black
     with a purple bill that feature a snake holding a baseball
     in its mouth (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 2/21).  In Dallas, Evan
     Grant reported that the Rangers won't wear the new caps, as
     management "looked at the mesh hats and decided to stick"
     with the traditional wool hats (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 2/21).
