WNBA TO HOLD ALL-STAR PARTY AT WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS GARDEN

          The WNBA announced that MSG will host the league's
     first All-Star Game on July 14, with the event televised on
     ESPN at 7:30pm ET (WNBA).  MSG President Dave Checketts: "We
     really went hard after this.  The first anything is a big
     deal" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 2/19).  Fans can vote for players
     through online and in-arena balloting, as well as at 450
     Sears stores in the 12 WNBA markets (N.Y. TIMES, 2/19).
