PRINCETON VIDEO IMAGE REPORTS INCREASED REVENUE FOR QUARTER

NJ-based Princeton Video Image (PVI) reported revenues
of $164,292 for the second quarter of '99, compared with
$201,974 in the same quarter a year ago. PVI had a net loss
of $2.1M, or $.26 per share, for the second quarter, as
opposed to a net loss of $3.4M, or $.83 per share, a year
earlier. For the six months ended December 31, total
revenues were $442,238, an increase over the $334,778 from
the same fiscal period in '98. In the same six months, PVI
had a net loss of $4.1M, or $.50 per share, compared with
losses in the year-ago period of $5.3M, or $1.47 per share.
Included in year-ago comparisons is the recognition of
$137,500 in non-recurring fees as a result of a settlement
with a former licensee. PVI President & CEO Dennis
Wilkinson said PVI's 155% year-over-year revenue increase in
the second quarter "is a clear demonstration of the growing
market acceptance of live electronic imaging" (PVI).
