EDGAR ON-LINE POE: RAVENS TO ANNOUNCE DEAL WITH PSINET

          PSINet will hold "simultaneous news conferences" in
     N.Y. and Baltimore today to announce its partnership with
     the Ravens, according to Jon Morgan of the Baltimore SUN. 
     The conferences will be linked by satellite and broadcast
     live at http://www.psinet.com.  According to a source
     familiar with negotiations, PSINet agreed to a 20-year,
     $105.5M deal, giving it "as close an association with an NFL
     team as any sponsor ever has."  Besides naming rights to the
     Ravens stadium, a source puts the radio component of the
     $5.3M per year deal "alone worth about $500,000 a year at
     retail" (SUN, 1/26).  The SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Bernstein
     & Mitchell report that ProServ officials, who handled the
     deal, said the entire package could hit "a record" $150M
     over 20 years (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 1/25).
