          Univ. of WI football coach Barry Alvarez signed a
     marketing representation deal with WI-based Sports Marketing
     and Management Group (SM2G)....Frito-Lay spokesperson Lynn
     Markley said that there "have been no complaints about the
     commercialization" of the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl to the
     company's consumer hotline, which is listed on the back of
     every bag of Tostitos (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 1/10)....Keebler
     will feature "MNF" announcer Boomer Esiason in its "Pass the
     Snack Crackers" promo, which is offering a trip to
     February's Pro Bowl (AD AGE, 1/11)....Pete Sampras, Andre
     Agassi, Patrick Rafter, Venus Williams, Martina Hingis and
     Anna Kournikova are featured in a new ad campaign for
     March's Lipton Championship in FL.  Miami-based Laidlaw,
     Barrett & Jervais created the print ads and Miami-based Fred
     Silverman Productions produced the TV spots.  Three of the
     TV spots "feature players confessing why they like" the
     Lipton.  Rafter: "There are obviously a lot of pretty women
     around."  Hingis: "There are so many things to do.  Just go
     over to Miami, go to Coconut Grove" (MIAMI HERALD, 1/11).
