OUR GIFT TO YOU: WORKING IN A SPORTS BUSINESS WONDERLAND

Billy and Dave -- they're a jeerin', as the season's disappearin'
Hoops fans are bummin' tonight, 'cause there's no end in sight,
Waiting in an locked-out wonderland.

Robert Kraft -- he's a-movin', and Beantown is boo-hooin'
You got a great deal, people claim it's a steal
Leaving behind Boston's superfans

Bridge
In the press Doug Logan is a-screamin'
"Where's the TV? MLS is huge!"
Poor Commissioner, he is a-dreamin'
In ratings, soccer ranks below street-luge.

NBC turned down football, CBS grabbed the dropped ball,
Now the two wait to see, Who will end up debt-free,
Throwing billions out to TV land

Thanks to Mark and to Sammy, Baseball got over its whammy
A rookie named Wood, did all that he could,
To bring baseball back from the damned

Bridge
In Lausanne, the IOC's a-steamin'
Members are accused of taking bribes
Now investigations are a-pendin'
Did bidders give the members' kids free rides?

Ninety-eight was a good year, Casey Martin -- he had no fear
What's next we don't know, hey NBA -- bring back the show
To our Sports Business Wonderland
