SUPER BOWL TIE-INS: SPRINT LINKS MIAMI PROMO TO YEPREMIAN

          In an effort to "build brand awareness and drive retail
     traffic," NFL telecom sponsor Sprint will feature a
     promotion with former Dolphins PK Garo Yepremian around the
     Super Bowl in Miami, according to Terry Lefton of BRANDWEEK. 
     The "Where's Garo?" promo will include a contest "wherein
     consumers try to replicate the infamous play" from Super
     Bowl VII, in which Yepremian threw an interception that was
     returned for a touchdown after a "botched" field goal
     attempt.  Yepremian will give away eight pairs of Super Bowl
     tickets at Sprint PCS stores.  FL-based Sports &
     Sponsorships handles the promo (BRANDWEEK, 12/14 issue).

     NFL Experience at the Super Bowl: Topps will title sponsor
     the Topps Super Bowl XXXIII Card Show at the NFL Experience
     in Miami.   Topps will also continue its sponsorship of the
     Topps Card Show and Pro Bowl Experience at the Pro Bowl in
     HI in February (NFL)....FieldTurf will provide the athletic
     competition surface for all interactive events at the NFL
     Experience (FieldTurf).
