          The AP's Amy Franklin writes that "demand for Packers
     merchandise has cooled this season" and QB Brett Favre's
     jersey "has been overshadowed" by Vikings rookie WR Randy
     Moss' as the "hottest item of the holiday season" in the WI
     and MN area.  But NFL Manager of Marketing Communications
     Brian McCarthy said that sales of Packers merchandise
     continues to be ranked No. 1 in the league in the latest
     figures through October (AP, 12/15)....CO-based Lowe
     Brothers Design has signed a deal to develop outdoor sports
     equipment for extreme sports company Aggression Sports, a
     subsidiary of CO-based Arete Industries. Terms of the deal
     were not disclosed, and products "may not debut" until the
     summer (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 12/12)....CA-based PowerBar
     officially awarded its $10-12M advertising account to OR-
     based Wieden & Kennedy (S.F. CHRONICLE, 12/15).
