CABLEVISION-SUB INKS GOLF EVENT; CPBL DOWN TO THE WATERLINE

          Cablevision telephone subsidiary Lightpath will title
     sponsor the Senior PGA Tour's Northville Long Island
     Classic.  The week-long tournament, now called the Lightpath
     Long Island Classic, will be held at the Meadow Brook Club
     in Jericho, NY, from August 2-8, 1999 (Lightpath).
          SWIMMING IN WATER: SC-based Grayson Mountain Water
     formally announced its three-year, $120,000 deal to become
     the official bottled water of the Collegiate Professional
     Basketball League.  Grayson will be the only bottled water
     sold at CPBL games, and the company will receive exposure
     via court-side coolers and signage (CPBL).
