SCHOTT TO SUE MLB? SHE FEARS SALE PRICE COULD BE LOW

Reds Majority Owner Marge Schott has three offers to
"buy all but one of her shares" of the team, but she "isn't
seriously considering any of them" and "is reviewing her
legal options if she decides [MLB] Commissioner Bud Selig
devalued her investment by forcing her to sell," according
to Geoff Hobson of the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER. A source said
that Schott's asking price for her shares "is close to"
$80M, but estimates have her shares worth about $50M. DC-
based business exec Jon Ledecky is interested in buying
Schott's shares, while the other two bids are "believed" to
be local (Geoff Hobson, CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, 11/6).
