Published November 20, 1998
Fox Sports and Host Marriott Services Corp. unveiled plans for a new bar and grill concept called "Fox Sports Sky Box." The first "Fox Sports Sky Box" will be built at Minneapolis/St. Paul Int'l Airport, and construction will begin later this month. Others set to open in '99 include Chicago, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa/St. Petersburg airports. Each restaurant will resemble the Fox Sports studio, and will feature memorabilia on display, computers connected to Fox Sports Online, Phillips flat-screen TVs showing Fox RSNs via DirecTV, video games and Fox Sports merchandise (Fox).
