LEAGUE NOTES

          In Milwaukee, Bob Wolfley reports that speculation has
     the Firstar Center in downtown Milwaukee as the office for
     MLB Commissioner Bud Selig.  The space "is being prepared
     and remodeled for that purpose," and Selig and "a handful of
     staffers are expected to move into their new home" sometime
     around January 1 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 11/19).
          NEW LEAGUE: Mobile City Council member Reggie Copeland,
     who introduced the Admirals, the city's new Regional
     Football League franchise, said that the league is "working
     with Turner Sports with the hopes of putting together a
     television package as well as holding discussions with
     Russell Athletics" (MOBILE REGISTER, 11/18).
