that "the Sex Police have come" for Mets GM Steve Phillips
after the team gave him a leave of absence following an
allegation of sexual harassment: "But why have the Mets
pulled the trigger on Steve Phillips ... before we know what
this woman's claims are, or if they have any merit?" (N.Y.
POST, 11/11). Also in N.Y., Lisa Olson writes under the
header, "Behavior Is Off-Base, But Hold Off On Thumb" that
suggesting that Phillips "should lose his job for losing his
pants is ... ludicrous" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 11/11). Also in
N.Y., Steve Jacobson: "What happens now? ... If he
[Phillips] does come back, how does he address a player he
thinks is drinking too much?" (NEWSDAY, 11/11).
