TNN USES SOUTHERN DRAWL IN EARNING SOLID PEPSI 400 RATING

TNN earned a 4.7 cable rating for its Saturday night
coverage of the rescheduled NASCAR Pepsi 400, making it the
highest-rated cable telecast of the night. The race was up
against Game One of the World Series on Fox. More than 5.8
million people watched all or part of the event at Daytona
Int'l Speedway. The rating peaked from 10:30-11:00pm ET,
with a 5.3. Top local markets included Greensboro-Winston-
Salem (13.1), Jacksonville-Brunswick, FL (12.8), Charlotte
(12.2), Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne, FL (11.1),
Nashville (10.6), Cincinnati (8.6) and Columbus (7.1) (TNN).
