MCCARTHY-ISM IN THE ABL: SISTERS ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES

Chicago native Jenny McCarthy -- formerly of MTV's
"Singled Out" -- was named an "honorary" ABL Condor on
Monday, as her sister Joanne is a replacement player for
Chicago's first-year ABL team, according to Elliott Harris
of the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES. Condors GM Allison Hodges said
that Jenny "will be doing a lot" for the team: "Her Web site
will be used for on-site season-ticket sales, and her
boyfriend is one of the largest suppliers to QVC, so we can
get our merchandise out. The image of Jenny's support of
her sister is important to us" (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 10/13).
The Condors have sold 500 season tickets for the 7,800-seat
Pavilion at Univ. of IL-Chicago (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 10/14).
